Wednesday

On Wednesday, there was the world cup football tournament on the field. Despite the weather being an activity destroying factor, many people still liked it. The intense heat made it very hard to keep up playing but it still turned out a success

Wednesday 16th June

On Wednesday 16th June went to room 58 to to paint a mural. My partner was Sam and we painted an underwater city.

It took us 3 hours to make it.

After lunch we did cartoon design with Mr.Jeffcoat. We learnt how to make a cartoon. After that we were told that we were in the competition.

Tuesday 15th June

On Tuesday 15th June we went to the science musuem in london. We took the train from St.Albans to St.Pancras and from St. Pancras to The underground to south kensington. At the science museum there was a lot to see becuase it was a big museum. When we got there we had a snack and then we went round in groups. At 12:30 we had lunch and then we went round again and then we went to the gift shop and then we left.

On Thursday morning I had make a video report. We had to go around capturing footage of all the activities that were happening that day. We then came back to room 10 to edit the footage we had captured. After this we had some last minute editing and then we showed our videos.

do you think the extra breaks are a good idea?

1. on some of the activities you need to concentrate and you need a break

Monday 14th June

On Monday 14th June we went to room 65 to study a new language Italian. We learnt how to say basic things like hello, goodbye,how are you and other basic things.After that we went to a different room to learn foods like pizza pasta ext. After break we made our own plays about going to a restuarant and ordering food and paying in italian,wehad to make our own props. After lunch we had to design a poster to do with everthing we learn on monday. While we were doing that miss took us out and we had to preform our plays. Once we finished everything we got to watch our plays and we did italian food tasting. We finished the day with a prize to a group with the most points.

Tuesday was the wembley stadium tour. Since I wasn't in again I was told how it went. The tour was great fun and went down very well, even with the older students who went.

MY CED WEEK 2010

Monday italy day we learned italian made a movie about two people ordering food in a italian we then watched and ate some italian and got 2 breaks played football (I played the whole week) i was thinking 2 breaks cool

Tuesday we went to a science musesum.I was thinking awsome

Wednesday we it a paint a murel we did what life would be like in 2040 and cartoon drawings with mr jeffcoat .I drew a horse and a knight and a person sitting

down on a chair reading.I was thinking i am a good artist

Thursday made a movie and showed to the whole class i was thinking

this is bad

I asked 5 people 2 questions the first question was do you enjoy CED week the they all said CED week was awsome and the 2nd question was if you wanted to changed something they said you should be able to chose what you want to do.

On Monday we learnt Italyan we learnt how to say hello and how are you also at the end of the day we made a film about people going into an italyan resteront and ordering food but we had to do this in italyan. when we finished we watched them while eating italyan food and drinking lemon fanta.

On Tuesday we went to the science musium it was fun my favorite room was the launchpad it was really cool with loads of hands on experiments it was really fun.

On Wednesday morning we painted a mural about what we think the world will be like in 2040 we painted a picture of a asteroid crashing into the earth. In the afternoon we drew some cartoons.

On Thursday morning we masde a film about school and in the afternoon we made a blog!!!

Monday's Cuffley Trip

On Monday, A trip to Cuffley went out and turned out a great success with the pupils who went. From interviewing a year 9 student who went on the trip they enjoyed it a lot.

3. kind of. the reason why i don't like it is caus you dont get to choose your activities and the activities you get are the ones you have to do

Ced week diary

In ced week i have been doing many things .
First day me and the rest of the year7s were learning italian . I have learnt a few stuff on italian langauge and food for some examples i have learnt soup in italian. I have learnt to say hello and bye in italian. The next day me and the year 7s went to the Science museum in London on a train.

CED Week 2010

This is CED week which stands for Curriculum Enrichment Week where everyone has fun and enjoys the work they are given. Every year there is a CED week when the rest of our year go to different countries.

During ced week me and my classmates have been interviewing people in Beaumont school.

In the School people have been doing sports,cooking and other stuff. People who participated in sports were doing some golf. Soft ball and football was done.

People have been doing sport activities,woodwork was hard for some people to do, some year 8 and 9 have been making videos.people liked sports tornaments,metal work was done.

Teachers did the activites because they liked the subject,some were ordered to by their boss.

Our CED blog

This is the Beaumont CED Week blog, where students can post reports, pictures and videos about CED activities. The blog is meant to act as a record for all Beaumont students of the activities that students took part in from June 14th to 19th.
